What qualifications do I need to work with Platinum Healthcare?

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school program and licensed to practice as a registered nurse. You must be currently working in an acute-care hospital environment with at least two year’s post-graduate hospital experience. English fluency is required as well as references from past work experience. Finally, we look for documentation readiness as per a checklist of additional requirements.

What makes joining Platinum Healthcare different than working for another company?

We offer the Platinum Healthcare Hire Advantage Program to registered, experienced nurses who meet specific criteria. This program offers you training to become a licensed, US nurse at no cost to you, if you are eligible for the program.

What is the Platinum Healthcare Hire Advantage Program that is offered to Nurses?

The program offers qualified candidates specialized training that will ensure their passing of all required examinations (CGFNS, IELTS, NCLEX-RN) in order to work in the US. The program pays for all your examinations, licensing and immigration costs.

What are my obligations as a Platinum Healthcare Hire Advantage candidate?

A Platinum Healthcare Hire Advantage candidate must sign a contract to agree to work with Platinum Healthcare for a period ranging from 12-36 months in the destination country. If choosing the USA, candidates will also need to commit to go through the Platinum Healthcare’s training and orientation process to prepare you for work in that country.

Do you offer specialized coaches and training programs for the CGFNS, NCLEX, and IELTS exams?

We offer specialized coaching and training programs to candidates in various specialties as well as in English fluency and cultural adaptation.

How long is the training process?

Training takes between 6-12 months depending on your adaptability and tests your clinical and English language skills.

What about my family?

If you are married, your spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21 can legally relocate to the United States on a Permanent Residency Visa with you but only after a 3-month period.

What type of visas or licenses do I need to work in the USA?

A Permanent Residency visa (also known as a Green Card) and a U.S. RN license are required to work in the US.

What is involved in obtaining my Permanent Residency visa and my RN license?

As part of the Platinum Healthcare Hire Advantage Program, the company will take care of all the immigration filing for your Visa and will train you to pass the NCLEX-RN exam so you can obtain your RN license.

What kind of questions will the NCLEX-RN exam include?

The exam lasts about five hours and is multiple-choice and results are provided within 72 hours. The exam covers knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively practice nursing in: Medicine, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Surgery.

Where do I have to go to take the NCLEX-RN exam?

The NCLEX-RN exam is taken in several locations in Philippines and India as well as several other testing countries. Your testing will be scheduled based on your current location.

What is a VisaScreen?

A VisaScreen ensures you have the necessary qualifications to work in the US. The screening checks your education, licensing and English language ability.

Where will I live once I arrive in the US?

Platinum Healthcare will provide you with significant guidance and counseling you on your living arrangements prior to you arriving into the US. We will meet you at the airport, transport you to your temporary housing which is available for a predetermined amount of time. Most temporary housing will be within walking distance from the healthcare facility at which you’ll be working.
